"Healing the Hard Stuff: Natural Approaches Resolve Major Illnesses"
New location to comeSpring has sprung, and with it a new beginning for us. We're all moved into our *temporary* offices in our home (280 Sturgis St., St Paul, MN), and most things are set up and operational, though we are still organizing and finding the best spot for a few things.

Here at the home office, the garden has started to grow and some things are even blooming! To the left is one of the crocuses that came up this year. Honestly, we are kind of excited to be able to share this space with our amazing clients, old and new. We normally have a small organic herb and vegetable garden, along with a larger garden area filled with different types of bee, butterfly, and other animal-friendly plants, including many native plants, herbs, and flowers. One of the plants that SchaOn is especially excited to see this year is the Lupine, a flowering plant rich in L-Arginine, he planted last year.

It is a treat to be able to be working from this beautiful location this time of year, and even though it has delayed a few of our plans (like the Remote Tech Maintenance Packages) due to moving a 1,856 sqr foot office, we are catching up fast and getting back on task. In the meantime, here are some more pictures so far from this year:
Some of the neighboring businesses within walking distance at our temporary office location.
  • Cafe Astoria - they make really beautiful drinks and foods (especially crêpes)!
  • Day by Day Cafe - they have an amazing back patio with a pond and water fountain. Also, they just were named "Best Breakfast 2018" in City Pages! (Congrats!)
  • St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store - They have a nice variety of things and a nice staff. Also, a pretty awesome mission!
  • Sophie Joe's Emporium - Such a wide variety of things in there, you could probably spend a good day looking at everything. They also have a lot of local artist items and custom-made jewelry like the ones one of our neighbors, Jean, makes. =D
  • Claddagh Coffee - a very beautiful place to get coffee.
  • River Garden Yoga Center - Offering a wide variety of Yoga from different teachers, kirtan, and recently just started a 12-Step Recovery Yoga group. Totally check them out!
  • DeGidios - Can anyone say: "Italian food"?
  • Bad Weather Brewing Company - They have some pretty awesome brews and a nice neighborly atmosphere. Oh, and they also have the upcoming "Bad Weather Outdoor Arcade" May 11 through May 13!

So, if you happen to be in the area... feel free to stop in and say hello :)

Security Vulnerabilities: Is it time for a new computer?

Intel announced in April that they are stopping work on microcode updates for certain older processors in regards to Spectre Variant 2 vulnerabilities. While that likely doesn’t mean much to most people, it does pose an interesting dilemma. Next, even though some older computers can run Windows 10, there could[...]

Product of the Month: Astaxanthin

In the last 30 years or so we’ve been hounded that the sun is harmful and we must protect ourselves with sunscreen. New studies have been coming out showing that many of the sunscreens on the market actually increase the risk of getting skin cancers as it actually traps the harmful UV rays at the surface of the skin. A very nice alternative for this Astaxanthin.
Astaxanthin is a very strong (super) anti-oxidant and is one of the few that is able to cross the blood-brain barrier and also helps boost eye health. The other nice thing with Astaxanthin is that as it builds up in the body it helps with sun over exposure, and is very effective from what I have been told by people with very sun sensitive skin. We carry the Deva brand of Astaxanthin in the clinic, and it is also available in the virtual dispensary. The Deva brand is vegan and non-synthetic.
