Our local community invites you to celebrate WordPress: The Port to the Wider Internet at the first-ever WordCamp Long Beach! We’re stacking our schedule with practical skill-enhancing talks, forward-thinking abstract discussions and casual networking events. Our two-day conference will be held at The Pointe Conference Center at Walter Pyramid on October 5 and 6, 2019.
Parking
Parking at the CSULB lots is not included with your ticket. The cost is $9/day. Street parking is available but quite limited. For alternative methods to get to WordCamp Long Beach, check out the CSULB Sustainable Transportation pages.
Notes on Sustainability
We’re trying to make WordCamp Long Beach as sustainable as possible, so we encourage people to bring their own reusable water bottles, bags, notebooks and writing utensils. Sponsors might be giving some of these items away as promotional material, but WCLB won’t be providing them.
All attendees who buy tickets by Friday, September 13 will receive a free t-shirt, if they want one.
Dietary Restrictions
WordCamp Long Beach makes every effort to ensure that all of our attendees will have something to eat during lunch each day. If you don’t see your meal preference listed, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help!
An Important Note About Allergies
WordCamp Long Beach takes life-threatening allergies seriously. If you have any life threatening allergies, let us know and we will contact you for more info. We consider a life-threatening allergy to be one where if you come in contact with the allergen (whether eaten, touched, or inhaled) that you require immediate medical attention.
If you have an allergy that requires immediate medical attention if you’re exposed, we want to know about it so that we can keep you safe.
Pregnant & Nursing People
We welcome soon-to-be and new parents. We’re setting aside a private space in our Green Room for attendees who are pregnant or nursing. The space is close to programming, is down the hall from the restrooms, and features comfortable seating and plenty of water.
