Event:   Fort Hamilton 11-Gun Salute to the Ships of Fleet Week
Time: 6:30 a.m. -6:45 a.m.
Location: Fort Hamilton, Engeldrum Bluff, 101st St. & Fort Hamilton Pkwy, Brooklyn

Annual event sponsored by Fort Hamilton. Spectators will be able to view participating ships as they travel through the New York Harbor during the Parade of Ships. Not open to the public. DOD ID required to enter base.

Time: 7:45 a.m. - 11 a.m. (approx. time)
Location: NY Harbor

The Parade of Ships officially kicks off 2023 Fleet Week New York. The ships will be able to be seen along the Hudson River from Battery Park to just south of the George Washington Bridge. Event is free to the public to view. 

Event: Sea Services at Miller Field in Staten Island 
Time:10 a.m. - noon 
Location: Miller Field 600 Drop Lane, Staten Island, NY

Includes static displays, USN helicopters, USN Explosive Ordnance Disposal fast rope demo, and Navy Band Northeast performance. Click here for the event flyer. Event is free and open to the public.

Location Times Squar, 7th Avenue & 42nd Stree.

Event: USMC Band & USMC Silent Drill Platoon Performance in TImes Square
Location: Times Square Broadway Plaza, W 47th Street.
Time: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Location: Pier 86, Pier 88, Pier 90 in Manhattan and the Homeport Pier in Staten Island

Event: Fleet Week Freedom Run

Location: North Cove Marina to 9/11 Memorial Plaza, New York, NY

Time: 9:45 a.m. - 11 a.m.

The annual Fleet Week Freedom Run is a 1.7 mile fun run through financial district and culminating at the 9/11 Memorial Plaza. Event is free and open to the public to view.


Event: Navy Dive Tank in Times Square

Time: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Location: Military Island, Times Square (43-44 St. Plaza)

U.S. Navy divers will dive in the Navy Dive Tank right in Times Square throughout the day. Come by and play tic-tac-toe, see their gear, take photos and learn about U.S. Navy Divers. Event is free and open to the public.

Event: Lincoln Park USMC Aviation Event

Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Location: Lincoln Park 1 County Road 605 Jersey City, NJ

Event includes USMC helicopter display, USMC Band & USMC Silent Drill Platoon performance.

Event: Reenlistment and Promotion Ceremony at 9/11 Memorial Plaza.

Time: 2 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Location: 9/11 Memorial Cobblestone area between two pools

Sea service members will participate in a Reenlistment and Promotion Ceremony on the 9/11 Memorial Plaza. Event is free and open to the public.

Event: Navy Ceremonial Guard to Perform in Times Square

Time: 7 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Event: The Sea Services in Eisenhower Park

Time: 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Location: Eisenhower Park East Meadow, NY

The U.S. Navy will host an aviation event at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow (Nassau County), NY. Event will include military an non-military static displays and the U.S. Fleet Forces "Brass Band" will also perform. Event is free and open to the public.

Event: USCG Band Performs at The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum

Time: 11 a.m. - noon

Event: USCG Search and Rescue Demonstration at Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum

Time: 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Location: Pier 86, Manhattan, NY

U.S. Coast Guard will conduct a Search and Rescue demonstration in the vicinity of the water off of Pier 86 for visitors to see. Event is free and open to the public.
