Former High Court judge Michael Kirby says the second version of the Government's Religious Discrimination Bill is worse than the first; an attack, he says, on the many to defend the few, in what he predicts would be a bonanza for lawyers if ever the bill becomes law.

He says the Government's latest draft of the religious freedom law privileges religious faith and expression over all the other human rights, like anti-discrimination legislation.
